Terms of Use
These terms apply to the Foil app and this website, made by Trifoil Trailblazer. By using Foil you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1What Foil is
Foil is a reminder and record-keeping tool. It reminds you of the medication schedules you enter, asks again when a dose is not marked, and keeps a history of what you marked.
2Not medical advice, not a medical device
Foil is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. It does not calculate doses, check interactions, or tell you what to take, when to take it late, or whether to take an extra dose. Everything it shows comes from what you entered.
Always follow your doctor or pharmacist. Never start, stop or change a medicine because of something in the app. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number.
3Reminders can fail
Foil is built to be reliable, but reminders depend on your phone: notification permissions, Focus or Do Not Disturb, battery settings, system updates, a switched-off or lost phone. Do not rely on Foil as your only safeguard for a medicine where a missed or late dose could cause serious harm.
4Your data and your responsibility
Your data is stored on your device, not with us, so we cannot restore it if the device is lost or the app is deleted without a backup or export. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your device and any exported files secure.
5Foil Pro, subscriptions and trials
Foil Pro is optional. It is offered as a yearly subscription, which may include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, and as a one-time lifetime purchase. The price and the trial length are shown before you confirm.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account. A subscription renews automatically at the shown price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
6Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. You can request one through the store where you bought Foil Pro.
7Licence and fair use
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Foil on devices you own or control, under these terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from. Do not copy, modify, resell, reverse engineer or misuse the app, except where the law allows it.
8Intellectual property
Foil, its design, text, icons and code belong to Trifoil Trailblazer. Your own data belongs to you.
9No warranty
Foil is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that every reminder will be delivered.
10Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trifoil Trailblazer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for harm arising from a missed, late or wrong dose, from relying on the app, or from data loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
11Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use Foil after a change means you accept the updated terms.
